Car Insurance Yugo (Car Insurance). Suspension squeak for a Nissan Sentra?

Suspension squeak for a Nissan Sentra? My 2005 nissan sentra has been making a squeak everytime I go over small bumps and cracks. It is coming from the front of the car, and the sound can be made if you push down hard enough on the hood. However, the sound disappears when it rains, so I believe something needs to be greased or oiled. I did find a thread on a website about how to possibly fix this problem however it's for a pontiac grand am. This thread says "Look at the 2 shock towers under the hood over each front wheel (Not in the wheel well). Don't just spray the bolts, look down in the opening, you will see 6 little holes down inside but around the outside of the circle that surrounds the bolt. Spray for about 1-2 seconds per hole." So I was wondering if anyone knew where I would find the spot I need to spray some lithium grease on my sentra. I have an idea of where I need to spray but I do not see any type of openings within the spot. Any advice would be great, thanks! Also if anyone has an idea of how much it costs to replace a v belt or serpentine belt at a mechanics would be great!

if you can push down on the hood and hear it,it shouldn;t be hard to locate, more than likely it is in the strut area, spray wd forty around moving parts, greasing or spraying moving parts is always a good idea

Yugo . engine squeal when warm?

engine squeal when warm? my 1999 saturn sc 5 speed has a squeal coming from the engine area. I was convinced it was the serpentine belt, i had it replaced, and the squeal returned as the engine warmed up. we took it to a dealer next and they hooked it up to a computer, through their diagnostic they discovered a few things that needed to be fixed, so $1900 later, I have a new clutch, new lower engine mount and new coils and plugs. once again the squeal has returned. this squeal is only noticed when the car is in nuetral or stopped with my foot on the clutch. Also i have noticed when i start the car (when its warm) while my foot is pushed down on the clutch it doesnt squeal, but once i let my foot off of the clutch it begins to squeal again and if i put the clutch down again it still squeals. here is a video i took of the squeal http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLvpM_oOPoo . my father and i are on edge with mechanics right now because $2000 is a lot to spend to get no where. please help me if you can, im not looking for smart *** responses but HELP! here car insurance.

Yugo . I just bought a motorcycle, and I think I made a mistake!?

I just bought a motorcycle, and I think I made a mistake!? My boyfriends uncle was selling an old cruiser for $600. I bought it because I was looking for a bike at the time, but I just found out I'm moving (job transfer). I'm only 18, and this is the first vehicle I've ever purchased. We filled out the title...now what? On of my friends said the tax/tags/title could cost up to $500! However, since I'm moving, there is no way I can afford that at the moment. I also have his title...how do i get it renewed into my name, and how much does that cost? I'm so dumb. I thought this would be wayyy simpler. Also, if I decide to simply sell the bike, can I just sign the title over to someone else without putting tags on it? That would be so helpful. I'm going to the DMV tomorrow to get some more info, but I think I really regret this...lol. car insurance.

Yugo . How to Remove & Mount a 480-8 Tire

4.80-8 tires are bias-belted tires constructed using layers of fabric laid around the circumference of the tire. This helps to stabilize the tread and reinforce it against puncture. The tire fits on an 8-inch rim and is most commonly used on towed vehicles like cargo trailers, or on riding lawn mowers. They have a maximum load capacity of around 590 pounds at 10 mph and can be inflated to a maximum of 60 pounds per square inch pressure. Removing the tire is fairly hard work, but doing it yourself could save you money.
Difficulty:Moderate
Instructions Things You'll Need
Automobile jack
Socket set
Dish soap and water
Tire lever
Valve stem removerRemoving the Old Tire

Step by Step :
1
Support the vehicle's weight with an automobile jack and jack stands, then remove the wheel with a socket wrench. Fully deflate the tire and use a valve stem remover to remove the valve stem from the tire.
2
Stand on the tire as close to the rim as possible and push down with your feet to break the tire's bead from the rim. Turn the tire over and repeat this process to break the bead on the other side.
3
Wet the tire with dish soap and water. Insert a lever in between the tire and the rim. Pull some of the bead over the rim and hold it there. Place another lever a few inches away and pull more of the bead over. Take the first lever out and insert it further along the bead. Continue this until this side of the tire is off the rim.
4
Turn the wheel over and insert a lever between the tire and the rim on this side. Repeat the above process until the tire is completely off the rim.
Replacing the New Tire

Step by Step :
1
Wet the new tire with dish soap and water. Slip an edge of the tire wall over the rim and push down on the tire with your hands until it's on the rim all the way around; you'll need to push down hard, especially for the last few inches. Turn the wheel over and work this side of the tire onto the rim in the same way.
2
Use the valve stem tool to replace the valve stem and inflate the tire. Take the wheel to an auto center to be properly balanced.
3
Replace the wheel onto the vehicle's hub, then replace and tighten the lug nuts with a socket wrench.

Yugo . When Do Tires Need to Be Changed?

Some repairs can be made to tires to keep them functioning properly. However, certain tire damage can only be fixed by changing the tire.
Unrepairable Area
If a tire has damage to the sidewall, it needs to be changed. Only damage to the tire tread, such as a puncture from sharp glass or a nail, can be repaired without replacing the tire with a new one. However, if the tread is excessively worn, the tire should be changed, especially if the tread is peeling.
Flat Tire Considerations
If your vehicle has a flat tire, the tire should be changed immediately. Driving on a flat tire can damage the wheel rim. Replace a flat with your vehicle's spare tire and install a properly-sized tire on the vehicle as soon as possible. (Most spares now are smaller tires for emergency use only). Remember that most spare tires have a limit as to the top speed the vehicle can be driven while the spare is used. This speed is normally listed on the sidewall of the spare.
Staying Prepared
Make certain you always carry a tire jack and tire wrench, along with a spare tire, in your car trunk. Make certain that the tire wrench is not stripped and can properly grip the wheel nuts.

Place one end of the wrench on the bone behind your ear and, leaning over, place the other end of the wrench on the parts that seem to be the source of the noise. Be careful not to get a shock or get your hair tangled in the fan. If your brakes squeal, the brake linings may be glazed or worn. Some disc brake pads have built-in wear sensors that squeal when it's time to replace them. Even though some disc brakes tend to squeal under normal circumstances, it's safer to have the brakes checked, or follow the instructions in Chapter 18 and check them yourself. 926 Car Insurance pontiac sunfire 1998 gtcoupe2d 146304

If the car idles with an offbeat rhythm, it isn't becoming creative; it's probably misfiring — one of the spark plugs or the wires that connect them to the distributor cap may be at fault. Try the following: • With the engine off, check the spark plug cables for breaks or shorts in the wiring. • With the engine off, remove the spark plugs one at a time and check whether they're clean and properly gapped. Replace any that are fouled or burned. If that doesn't help, have a technician check the ignition system with an electronic engine analyzer. People used to check spark plugs by holding the end of the spark plug cable close to a metal surface to see whether a spark jumped across when the engine was cranked, but the high voltage in most ignition systems now makes that procedure extremely dangerous. If the idling is rough but even and your vehicle has a carburetor, the carburetor settings may need to be adjusted. Chapter 13 shows you how to do this yourself. If that doesn't work, you may need to replace the carburetor. Fuel-injected vehicles don't have carburetors, and a technician must check and adjust these complex electronic systems. Try checking the compression in each cylinder, following the instructions in the section of Chapter 13 called "Checking the Compression in Your Cylinders." If the engine needs to be rebuilt, you may prefer to get another engine — or another vehicle.

Yugo . Can you take out the speed sensor in a car and the car still work?

yes Toyota Tundra Double Cab.
*
An easy way to see whether your car is idling evenly is to place a stiff piece of paper against the end of the tailpipe while the car is idling (with the emergency brake on, please). Doing so amplifies the sound and enables you to hear the rhythm. A misfiring cylinder comes through as a pumping or puffing sound. An even but rough idle is a clue that it's time to retune your carburetor — especially the idle mixture and idle speed screws. Chapter 13 has instructions for doing this job. If your car sounds like a jet plane or makes some other loud, abnor mal sound, a hole in the muffler is probably the cause. Replace it immediately: Traffic cops hate noisy mufflers, and carbon monoxide hates people! Chapter 20: Troubleshooting Leaks, Squeaks, Smells, and Strange Sensations A O C If the horn is stuck, your vehicle is producing what may be the worst noise it can make. Before this happens, have someone honk your horn until you can locate it under your hood. There are usually two horns. Each has a wire leading to it. If your horn gets stuck, pull these wires to stop the noise (see Figure 20-2) — sometimes you have to pull only one. When you have the horn fixed, tell the mechanic that you pulled the wires and find out why the horn got stuck. (If you can't get at the horn wires, disconnect one battery terminal or pull the fuse that goes to the horn to stop the noise.) Figure 20-2: If your horn gets stuck, pull a wire to silence it.

If your car sounds like an old taxi, especially when you drive it on a bumpy road, it may just need lubrication (see Chapter 16). However, the problem might be worn shock absorbers or struts, suspension ball joints, or broken stabilizer links (see Chapter 11). You may get used to the squeaks and groans, but they also indicate wear, because they're caused by parts rubbing together or moving without the proper lubrication. Obviously, action is called for. The following section may be of help. Squeaks, Rattles, and Vibrations If you hear suspicious rattles, squeaks, or vibrations, you may be able to save yourself some money by checking and tightening the following items before seeking professional help: I *** Loose screws and bolts (Check both inside the vehicle and under the hood.)
